A&E's New Live TV Event Series "Live PD" uses Unity Intercom
Unity Intercom is proud to be providing audio communications for the production of A&E's brand new live series "Live PD" which premiers October 28 at 9/8c.
This real time documentary event series will take place every Friday night over the course of eight weeks. Using dash cams along with fixed rig and handheld cameras the TV event will capture the work of a varied mix of urban and rural police forces around the country.
Unity Intercom is being used for all intercommunication between the camera crews, remote producers, technical staff, and support staff. Unity is also providing the ability for the directors at A&E headquarters in New York to easily communicate to anyone on Unity in any city at anytime during filming, a major production advantage that was not possible before.
Unity has proven during production to provide broadcast quality audio so every time producers are talking live on air you are hearing audio from Unity Intercom!
Incorporating Unity Intercom with an existing RTS Adam frame system has blended the two technologies together in a way that is seamless and allows for flexible wireless communication abilities that are unprecedented in the television production industry.
Tune in or set your DVR every Friday evening at 9/8c for this live new ground breaking television experience that Unity is proud to be a part of!
